Moving forward with ‘curriculum’? Teaching and learning in a home based setting Part 2

January 5 @ 19:00 - 20:00

In this session we will build on session 1 about ‘curriculum’.  Our curriculum is not set in stone, though it will have a central core, so we need to reflect on how we use that core to develop the Overarching Principles of the EYFS.

This session includes:

  • A brief review of what is meant by ‘curriculum’.  What is unique about your setting?  An opportunity to share ideas and questions from Session 1
  • Using the Characteristics of Effective Teaching and Learning to develop practice and provision
  • Tips for effective observation, assessment and planning
  • Handouts and proforma to support practice
