About your expert

After gaining his honours degree in Early Childhood Studies followed by a PGCE, Graham started his career as a teacher. During his 8 years as a teacher Graham taught a variety of age ranges from nursery to year 6. After having their own children Graham and his wife Lauren, who was also a teacher, set up as childminders to spend more time with their own children.

The business quickly evolved from childminding from their own home to supporting a range of early years settings, schools and parents through their resources and support business The Childminder Resource Hut. CRHut now has over 300 educational resources all personally designed and created in house. Over the years they have supported over 40,000 settings with their resources and support on their facebook support groups and pages.

After the release of the new EYFS in 2020/21 they noticed a significant increase in the amount of questions and concerns around the new changes as well as new challenges faced within the sector around how best to support children. This also fell during the middle of global pandemic which saw a rise in the amount of training moving online. In 2021 MyCPDGroup was founded by Graham as a way to help educators to access this great content from one central location. The Childminders Club is built on this platform and brings together the best early years consultants and authors in one place through one incredible value subscription.
