About this course:
It’s hard to imagine a setting without some dietary requirements. Children today have more allergies than ever before and with this comes some serious menu management. In this session we will look at supportive ways to implement different dietary requirements whilst ensuring all children get the full nutritional intake required for childhood development.
This session includes:
- A look at allergies and labels
- Nutritional considerations for certain dietary restrictions
- Organising your kitchen to cater for allergies
- Ensuring children don’t feel they have a ‘special menu’ as children like to fit in
At the end of the session you will have some key take aways to easily implement into your setting.

Louise works as a Nutritional Therapist and Early Years Nutrition Consultant, along with creating educational resources and courses for a range of sectors.
